After much anticipation, Mango has finally released their Fall Winter 2015 ad campaign featuring the two It-girl Brits Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss, and shot by well-known fashion photographer Inez & Vinoodh. For the season’s campaign, the Spanish fashion brand invited these supermodels to be the faces of the much-anticipated #somethingincommon campaign, proving how Kate and Cara are truly the prime example of the power of dazzling beauty including the most coveted top models of our times.
True to the campaign’s #somethingincommon slogan that says “history repeats itself”, the new pictorials are taking us back to the early 1970s, showing range of selections overloaded with flaring pieces and trendy ‘70s-inspired prints ranging from flowers to geometric images, as Cara and Kate – two beauties from two different fashion eras – rock something in common including suede fringed ponchos, military-inspired jacket, flared jeans, maxis, pussybow blouses, and cool booties.
From a cropped one, to oversized, to knee-length number, the military-inspired coats and jackets shown in the campaign are featured with double button design, which then paired with other fashion staples in matching black – including trousers, shift dress, neck tie, and high boots –, giving slightly masculine touches to the feminine silhouettes of the beauties, thus enhancing their venturesome spirits ready to struggle against the autumnal cold.In contrast to the tough side of the looks, subtler and softer silhouettes come in vast range of 70’s inspired pieces, as both supermodels rock loose fitting feminine ponchos and capes with a fringed finish, which are very elegantly flowing on the top models’ bodies coming in various colors and patterns. Not to mention, there’s also one picture showing Cara donning boho-printed flowy maxi dress with slit, notched neckline, and long flared sleeves for a more of feminine touch among the toughness.
As for other images included in the campaign, Cara looks simple yet incredibly sweet in a walnut brown suede coat that perfectly matched with a pair of snakeskin pattern booties, while Kate’s appearance is equally stunning as she dons a pair of flared jeans with a long-sleeved floral printed shirt loosely tucked into the pants and finished off with a boho-style cropped black vest
